Angeline, is a 27" tall folksy angel cat,
made of muslin and painted with a series of washes and an antique finish that gives her a deep, beautiful patina. Angeline's face detail has been worked with artist's pencils.

Angeline wears a beautiful dress made from an antique Battenburg lace curtain I found in an antique mall.Pattern includes instructions on how to turn a vintage textile into a dress. Angeline's dress has been trimmed with vintage silk ribbon using an adaptation of an old fashioned technique known as ruching. Angeline wears simple pantaloons trimmed with vintage eyelet, and her boots are painted and decorated with ribbon rosettes.

Mae is a 26” folk doll made of muslin, whose face, hair, and high top boots are embroidered first and then enhanced with colored pencils for a very unique and beautiful look. Her legs are constructed using a 2-step process so that the boots are made of muslin, and can be “painted” with the colored pencils. The leg area is made of black linen, which gives the look of old fashioned stockings. Her dress features a full skirt with a flounce, and matching bonnet. She wears pantaloons edged with lace and a full petticoat with two rows of tucks and lace.
