The dolls are all a calico base pattern (calico in the U.S. is muslin) that are stuffed around an aluminum wire armature....When they are firmly stuffed , and posed in position ,they are then covered with a cotton lycra skin and sculpted ....Once sculpted they are then painted with tinted gesso and acrylics...
These are very firm and rigid sculptures.....
The eyes are 16 mm - 20 mm dolls eyes OR marbles of “DAS” (air-drying clay) hardened at room temperature and then painted with acrylics and ARALDITE GLUE......... Ahh, the Araldite glue is used to make the eyes look glossy - - so whatever you use now may work! You only need this if you MAKE your eyes from the air dry clay.
Cotton Lycra sample that Pam sent me,,,a soft peachy/blush color, stretchy and very soft.
This is the "wadding" sample she sent, you can see it's quite light. (and is lightweight batting for us, kind of course, not slick)

Dragon
Remember, this pattern does NOT need the Basic Instruction Booklet
The dragon is approx 36"long with a wing span of approx 30"
She is a wonderful creature elegant with delicate finger like hands and feet that seem to contradict her monstrous appearance.......she has teeth made of polymer clay and horns as well.....glass marbles makes fantastic eyes...She also looks great with false eye lashes..................
This doll can be posed any way you want.....can stand upright or crouching

Mermaid
The mermaid is approx 36 “ in length including tail fin..She is fantastic to sculpt and pose because of her long sinuous tail and fin....She actually has legs that are encased in a lycra skin,
This doll can be seated or otherwise placed in a reclining pose........
Her tail is textured with tissue paper and then rubbed with iridescent paints....

Unicorn

This doll is approx 24'" tall and the same in length....and wing span....
The unicorn is beautiful and is great fun to paint and cover with glue sequins,beads and glitter......
Embellish with pearl rope, ribbons and flowers .............
A very elegant and graceful animal.......
