This pattern contains optional arms, legs and wing directions for creating a one of a kind sprite.  Painted Ladies by Karen Shifton! The painted ladies are a set of very fun and easy paper and cloth dolls. The basic doll is made from poster board, cotton batting and muslin. Once you have the basic body made, the fun really begins! Think of the bodies as a canvas for your own personal art work. The faces the coloration have been created using Tsukineko's All Purpose Inks and Fantastix pens. General directions are included in the pattern to enable you to start making faces and coloring the body. The embellishment doesn't stop there. You can play with stamps, do some embossing and maybe some beading, andd some fibers or yarns and the possibilities are endless.
