Mr. Otter and His Daughter
This pattern is a great getaway from the usual dollmaking - what a joy to see such cute animals come out of Ruth's handiwork.....this was Club America's November pattern (2001)
Mr. Otter sits up to almost 15" and even thought she is smaller, his daughter stretches out to 14" long when she's swimming.

Puppy Playmates
Just think - - - no shedding, no tracking in mud, and no jumping on the neighbors or biting the mailman! Their behavior is practically perfect!
These pups are 14" long, plus their tails. They are not jointed, but have different leg options in the pattern so that you can "build" them in different poses. Lots of different fabrics can be used, too.
Here are a few of the possibilities:
Bart is made from black velvet,
and he has a "sloppy sit!"
Macey is made from short-pile fake fur, and is ready to "pounce" on her ball!
Norman is made from shaggy felt, and he's lying down, chewing a shoe!
Duffy just woke up! He's the only pup with a closed mouth - another option in the pattern. He's also made from a fake fur fabric.
Duke is "on the move," running on three legs. His fabric is luscious woven mohair!
